Sharing files across the home network
has traditionally been a study in geekery. Now, with Windows 7 it's painfully simple to share files across your Windows home network. Simply choose what file types or you want to share in HomeGroup networking, get a password and input that password on any computer you want to give access to. Easy!Download this episode now

- To set it up click Start and then Control Panel.
- In Control Panel click on Network and Internet and then click HomeGroup.
- Click on
- On the next screen you can select what files you want to share. Click Next.
- Windows 7 then sets up the sharing. Click Next.
- Windows 7 gives you a password so you can add other Windows 7 computers to your HomeGroup.
- Be sure to write down the password.
