- Initial boot-up takes about 20 seconds from power-on to homescreen.
- The Samsung Galaxy Tab has a 7-inch capacitive LCD touchscreen; not an AMOLED screen as was rumoured.

- Volume rocker
- MicroSD card slot
- SIM card slot (standard size, not micro SIM)
On the back:
- 5MP camera with flash
