How to add a photo to a contact on your Android phone

After a short time of having a phone, you'll notice that your

contact list

can bulk up quite a bit. Not only that, but all that text can make your favorite and

preferred contacts

fade into the list. If you want your contacts to stand out more on your

add pictures for your contacts

to help give them character and so you can identify them quicker. It's easy and we'll show you how in this tutorial.

Show Notes

- On your Android phone, go into Contacts.

- Tap on a contact and then tap the Menu key.

- Select Edit Contact.

- You'll see a square above where the name is. Tap that.

- Now your Gallery will appear and you can tap on a folder and then on an image.

- Your image will appear and you'll see an orange square on the screen.

- You can move the square around using your fingertip.

- If you hold a fingertip down on the edge, four arrows will appear.

- If you make the square smaller, it's like zooming in.

- When you're satisfied, tap Save.

- Now simply tap Done.
