for places in Gowalla, you can also choose to

add Gowalla highlights

. These are places that fit a particular description and happen to be your

favorite location

for that particular thing. Whether it's a walk in the park or a cup of coffee, these

highlight locations

can be shared with other Gowalla users so you can show them how much that spot means to you.

- You can add Highlights on the Gowalla website that represent your favorite spots for specific activities such as Guilty Pleasure, Best Cup, etc.

- Click on Add a Place and search for the spot to add to that category.

- You can leave comments about why it's your favorite spot and share it on Facebook and Twitter.

- Your highlights will be shared on the Spots Page on the Gowalla website.
