With some operating systems the available keyboard shortcuts are cast in stone. Not so in Ubuntu. You can go in and

configure the keyboard shortcuts

to be exactly what you want!

- In

Ubuntu

click on System, then on Preferences, and then on

Keyboard Shortcuts

.

- You can change the keyboard shortcuts easily.

- Click in a field and then press the key sequence you want to use.

- To disable a keyboard shortcut just click in the field and press the Backspace key.

Disabled shortcuts

can always be reactivated by simply assigning a new shortcut.

- In Ubuntu you can disable shortcuts you don't want and configure the ones you do want.
