- If you don't feel comfortable editing the Registry, remember Dr. File Finder's Rule #2 "When in doubt, don't!"

- Click on Start, then in the search box type "regedit" without the quotes.

- The Registry Editor will open.

- You'll want to go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer

- Take it step by step and walk your way down. The Registry is in alphabetical order.

- Click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER

- Then find and click on Software.

- Find and click on Microsoft and then find and click on Windows.

- Under Windows click on CurrentVersion and then click on Explorer.

- On the right side right-click, select New and click DWORD.

- Give the DWORD a name like DeskHoverTime.

- Right-click on the DWORD you created and select Modify.

- Click the Decimal radio button.

- Now input the value you want. This is in milliseconds.

- The larger the number the longer the pause before Aero Peek will take effect.

- When you're done close the Registry Editor.

- Your change will take effect after you reboot.
