Show Notes

- Go into the Android Market on your Android phone and search for GDE.

- GDE is free so just download it and tap the icon to run it.

- Now, tap the Home button on your device and you'll that see you have two options. You can go to the default Android home screen or the GDE home screen.

- At some point, if you want, you can check the box to set GDE as your default. For now, just tap GDE.

- Now you're in the GDE interface. Tap the Menu button and you get a number of options.

- Tap on Control Panel and you get another list of options. You can change phone settings, desktop settings, button settings and more.

- Tap on Personalize Appearance.

- Here, you can select menu transition types and you can pick from a theme.

- There are free GDE themes available in the Android Market.

- Make your selections and then tap the back key.

- You can set up this desktop to be totally different from your default Android home screen and toggle between them whenever you want.
