As with most things the Main Menu in Ubuntu comes with certain things on it by default. What's really cool in Ubuntu, however, is that you can

edit the menu

so it suits you and what you want.

Show Notes

- In Ubuntu click on System, then on Preferences, and then on Main Menu.

- You can

add or remove items

from the existing menus.

- If you don't want to

see the entire list

of games just uncheck the ones you don't want to see.

- If you want you can

create new menus

and add programs to them of your choosing.

- When you're done just click Close.

- If you change your mind later you can go back in and click Revert.

- Ubuntu lets you totally

configure the menu

so you can have it your way!
