When you get your iPhone it has four applications set up in the "dock" area. Many users don't know it, but those apps aren't set in stone. You can choose to have your favorite applications always visible in the dock, but you're always limited to four.

- Press a finger down on the screen of your iPhone until the icons jiggle and some have X's next to them.
- Take a fingertip and drag an icon of a program you no longer want in the dock to the homescreen.
- Now tap the icon of the program you do want in the dock and drag it down there.
- When you're satisfied just tap the Home button and you're all set.
- Take a fingertip and drag an icon of a program you no longer want in the dock to the homescreen.
