How to clear the browser cache on your BlackBerry

Just like on a computer, when you

surf the Web on your BlackBerry

you accumulate junk. This junk will start to slow down your device if you don't do something about it. The best thing to do is to

remove the browser history, cache, cookies, and pushed content

. That'll get the browser on you BlackBerry back in top shape.

Show Notes

- On your BlackBerry highlight the browser and press the trackball or
touch the touchscreen.

- The browser will begin to load and soon you'll see your home page.

- Now click the BlackBerry menu key and select Options. Press the
trackball.

- Under Options scroll down to Cache Operations and press the trackball.

- The cursor will automatically highlight sections that need cleaning.

- With

Clear History

highlighted simply press the trackball.

- The cursor will move automatically to the next item which is Content
Cache. Press the trackball.

- Do the same for Pushed Content and Cookie Cache.

- Press the BlackBerry back button and the memory cleaning will take
place.

- Back at the Browser Options screen just click the BlackBerry menu
button, highlight Close and press the trackball.

- Your BlackBerry's brower is now fully cleaned and should run smoother.
