. You can

invite Gmail contacts

to collaborate on any of your Google Sites,

set permissions

for your contacts and

track website changes

so that you know what changes were made every step of the way.

- One thing that makes Google Sites different from other site creation tools is that it is a great collaboration tool.

- Click on More actions and then Share this site.

- You'll see an invitation that you can send people to join your site as an owner, a collaborator or just a viewer.

- You can also choose people from your Gmail contacts list.

- Check the box next to Advanced permissions to allow anyone to view the site.

- Click on Invite these people and you can add an optional message to go along with the invite.

- Once they accept, they'll be able to either view the site or, if you added them as the owner or collaborator, they'll be able to add things to the site too.
