- First, begin by turning on your Wii console.
- You'll be brought to a welcome menu and you'll have to select your language, indicate whether the sensor bar is above or below the TV and set the time and date.
- You'll also need to select whether your TV is widescreen or not, give your console a nickname and set which country you reside in.
- Parental controls let you control certain functions of your Wii.
- To set the parental controls, you'll need to enter a PIN number and set a security question.
- Once that's done, you'll be able to restrict usage of Wii points, usage of the Internet, access to message boards and more.
- From the Wii Options menu, you can access the system settings where you can change the settings we just chose.
- You can also change the sensitivity of the sensor bar which detects the actions of your Wiimotes.
