How to copy and paste text on your iPhone

One of the earliest complaints about the iPhone was that you couldn't

copy and paste

text. With the release of iPhone software 3.0, copy and paste came to the iPhone. Here's

how to easily copy and paste text on your iPhone.

- To copy text just hold your fingertip down until a magnifying glass appears then let go.

- A bar will appear that offers Select and Select All.

- Choosing Select All will select everything on the page.

- When you pick Select it will highlight a word and you'll see blue dots at the front and end of that word.

- To expand what's selected just hold a fingertip down on a blue dot and drag it to cover the text you want.

- When you're done let go and select Copy or Cut.

- Keep in mind the Cut will remove the selected text.

- Now move to where you want the text and hold your finger down till the magnifying glass appears.

- Let go and select Paste.

- Your text is placed where the cursor is.
