If there are people you text message all the time, it can be a pain to always have to find them in your contacts list. Well, on your Android phone you don't have to because you can
make a text message shortcut
for those you text most!Download this episode now

- Hold your fingertip down on the screen in any blank spot.
- When the menu comes up, tap on Shortcuts.
- Another menu will appear and you want to tap Direct message.
- Your list of contacts will appear.
- Tap the contact you want a text messaging shortcut created for and you're done.
- You'll now have an icon on your screen with that contact's name alongside it.
- If you tap that icon, you may be asked what method you want to use for texting or you can set a default method.
- If you have a default texting application, then tapping on your shortcut will open that program, ready to text your contact.
- When the menu comes up, tap on Shortcuts.
