Show Notes

- Go to the Control Panel and type "defrag" into the search box, and click on Defragment your hard drive when it appears.

- To manually defragment right now, click on Defragment Now...

- Select the drive(s) you want to defragment and click on OK to begin.

- You can click on the Close button to hide the Disk Defragmenter window; the defragmentation will continue in the background.

And that's all there is to it!

Do a disk defragmentation whenever you notice your system is acting sluggishly.
