The iPhone 3G is the hottest phone there is. Andy Walker continues his in depth introduction to the iPhone. He looks at iPhone apps that are included right out of the box. He also shows how to find and download apps, either free or paid.

- All iPhone apps reside on the home screen.

- Clicking on the phone icon allows you to dial favorites, contacts, see recent calls or manually dial a number. The Voicemail icon shows recent calls. You can click on the appropriate button to make a call back.

- The iPod application icon launches the iPhone's built-in iPod functionality.

- Clicking on the camera icon activates the iPhone's 2 megapixel built-in camera.

- Photos appear in the appropriately names Photo application.

- Click on Safari to browse the web.

- Click on Calendar for a time management app.

- Click on Maps to access Google Maps.
