How to edit a voice memo on your iPhone
Cut out the beginning of a lecture, before the prof starts talking. Cut out the droning ending of a presentation and more with the voice memo editing features built into the Voice Memo app on your iPhone. It's easy to do. Here's how.

- Find the Voice Memo app icon - it's a microphone.
- Tap on it.
- Tap on the button on the right to view your recordings.
- Tap on the recording you want to edit.
- Now tap on the arrow that's at the end of the listing, next to the time.
- You now see a screen that shows when it was recorded, how long it is, and the date of the recording.
- Tap Trim Memo.
- You can begin at either end or work from both ends.
- Put your fingertip down on the recording. When you're on it you'll see the time come up.
- Slowly slide your finger and you'll see the time change. When you get to the point you want just lift your finger.
- When you're done just tap the Trim Voice Memo button and you're done.
