but you have to first enable them. To

enable extensions in Safari 5

, you have to change some of your

browser settings

first. Then you'll be able to run extensions just like in other browsers.

- In Safari, click on the gear icon and select Preferences.

- Now click on the Advanced tab.

- Click the box next to Show Develop menu in menu bar so it's checked.

- Close this.

- Now click the page icon and select Develop.

- Now click Enable Extensions.

- Your copy of Safari can now run extensions.
