- "unread" is a label like any of the other labels you've created.

- Because "unread" is a label you can search for it.

- In your Gmail search bar type label:unread ENTER

- Gmail will pull up every message that is currently unread.

- Now you can read these messages, delete them, or whatever else you want to do.
