We all have the best of intentions for keeping our important files organized. It never quite seems to work out that way though. We'll look at how to find a file using the built-in search function of Windows in just a few steps.

- Click Start then Search.
- Select For Files and Folders.
- Click All Files and Folders.
- Type in part of file name.
- When search finds what you're looking for you can click Stop.
- If you double-click on the link the file will open.
