Sometimes you need some specific information about your Windows computer. Like when you're talking with someone in tech support. They ask you how much RAM you have, or what size hard drive, or what version of Windows and you just aren't sure. For those times, or in case you're just curious, there's a handy utility called System Information that will tell you all you need to know.

- Click on Start and then on All Programs.

- Click on Accessories, then click on System Tools.

- Under System Tools click on System Information.

- When System Information comes up you have to click on a subcategory in order to see information.

- You can find information about your system's hardware and software.

- The information refreshes as you move around so you get the very latest system information.

- You can find out about drivers, network, memory, devices, display and much more.

- Essentially every key element of your computer has a listing in System Information.

- Now you know where to come to find out anything about your system.
