Window Explorer is configured to give you certain information by default. If you wish, however, you can configure it to give you all the information you'd like. Get the date modified, file attributes and much more with just a few clicks.

- To open Windows Explorer click Start, then Programs, then Accessories and then click on Windows Explorer.
- In Windows Explorer click on View and then click on Details.
- In the right-hand panel you'll see Name, File Type, and Date Modified.
- Put your mouse cursor in the area where it says Name and right-click.
- You'll see a long list of other information that can be displayed in Windows Explorer.
- Move down and check the ones you want to see like Attributes or Date Created.
- Note that you can even include information from songs like Artist, Album, Genre, and the like.
- In this way you can configure Windows Explorer to give you the information you want.
