You may have installed
Windows 7 RC1
on one of your computers. You may have put it on one of your laptops. It's also possible that you've created a fewWindows 7 RC1 virtual machines
. At the same time you probably have a machine on your network that's running XP. Here's how you can easilyshare files

- Download Windows 7 RC1 here.
- First thing to do is make sure all of your computers are in the same Workgroup.
- Default workgroup set by Windows is WORKGROUP. You may have changed it.
- In Windows 7 click Start then Control Panel.
- In Control Panel click on Network and Internet and then click on Network Sharing Center.
- Over on the right click on Change advanced sharing settings.
- Click the button next to Turn on network discovery.
- Click the button next to Turn on file and printer sharing.
- Click the button next to Turn on sharing so anyone with network access can read and write in the Public Folders.
- If you don't want users on your network to have to enter password then click the button next to Turn off password protected sharing.
- Click Save Changes.
- Now, click Start and then Computer.
- On the right side click Network and you'll see all of the PC's running XP, Windows 7 RC1, Vista, and more.
