- Click on Start and in the search box, type Windows Live.
- You'll see an option to go and get Windows Live Essentials. Press Enter.
- You'll be taken to a web site where you can download Windows Live Essentials.
- Essentials contains Messenger, Mail, Photo Gallery, Movie Maker, Writer, Family Safety and more.
- Once downloaded, just double-click on the file to run it.
- When the install starts, you'll be able to pick exactly which programs you want to install.
- When the install finishes, you're ready to go.
- You'll see an option to go and get Windows Live Essentials. Press Enter.
- You'll be taken to a web site where you can download Windows Live Essentials.
