- Go this Gmail for iPhone site to get the link sent to your iPhone.

- If you use

Google Apps on your iPhone

you can go to http://mail.google.com/a/APPSDOMAIN.COM/ where "APPSDOMAIN.COM" is the name of your Google Apps domain.

- To give an example first we show you how the account looks in the default Gmail setup that comes with your iPhone.

- The default Gmail is okay, but it doesn't give you any of the things that make Gmail so special.

- You don't have labels, the ability to archive, quick access to Google Docs or Google Calendar.

- Using the

Mobile Gmail

you do have access to all these things.

- You have the ability to Archive email messages.

- You can easily delete messages.

- If you tap More when you don't have an email selected you get a drop-down menu offering Talk and Tasks.

- If you tap More when you do have a message selected you get a range of options.

- You can mark a message read or unread.

- You can tag it as spam.

- You can mute.

- You can Label messages using any of your labels.

- From this interface you also have quick access to Google Docs and Calendar.
