you might wish there was a way that you could save those images to your computer automatically. Fortunately for Thunderbird users there is a relatively easy way to do just that. We'll show you how to tell

Show Notes

- Open Thunderbird.

- Click on Tools and then on Options.

- In Options click on the Advanced tab.

- Now click on Config Editor.

- You'll see the famous warning telling you to be careful. Agree and be sure to promise.

- In Config Editor you want to search for: mailnews.message_display.disable_remote_image

- The config area is alphabetical so it's relatively easy.

- When you find it just double-click on it so it's value becomes true.

- Now when Thunderbird encounters images the will automatically be saved for you.

- Close out of all this and you're done.
