How to hide email recipients using BCC

Sometimes you have news or information that you want to share with lots of people, or everyone you know. In doing so, however, you'll reveal all of their email addresses to everyone on the list. That's something that might not be desired, but there is a way around it using the

BCC function

present in every email client or online email service.

- Begin composing your email.

- Rather than put all of the email addresses in the To or CC areas, click on Add Bcc.

-

BCC stands for Blind Carbon Copy

.

- A BCC recipient is not revealed to anyone else who received the email.

- In this way you can send an email to 100 people and each will think they were they only one to receive it.

- If that troubles you for some reason you can disclose the fact in your email.

- You can use BCC anytime you want a message to go to someone without other recipients knowing it.
