How to manage contacts in Windows Live Messenger
Windows Live Messenger lets you add as many contacts as you want. You can send them an invitation via email and add them to your contact list. You can place each contact in a group, include their mobile number and receive automatic updates whenever they change their information.

Download the latest version of Windows Live Messenger and follow along with our tutorial series
- In
Window Live Messenger click the down arrow on the right and select Contacts.
- Move across and click on Add a contact.
- In the window that opens type in the email address of the contact you want to add.
- Select the contact's country.
- Type in the contact's mobile phone number if applicable.
- Add the contact to a group if you wish.
- You can add contacts, edit contacts and delete them.
- You can create, edit and delete groups for your contacts.
- Contacts can be sorted and filtered.
