Ubuntu's stability and security

assign different privileges

to each user. If everyone is an administrator no one is in charge. Ubuntu takes care of that.

Show Notes

- In Ubuntu click on System and then on Administration.

- Moved to and click on Users and Groups.

- Put in your password to unlock the user function.

- Highlight a user and click Properties.

- Under Properties you can have a information like contact numbers, names, and so on.

- Under Privileges you can allow a user the privilege of dong certain things, or not.

- Some of the

privileges you control

include ability to monitor system logs, connect to external drives, share files, and much more.

- By giving each user only the Privileges they need it makes your system more secure.

- When you're done adjusting privileges click OK and then Close.
