- Once the program is installed you go through an initial setup.

- On the Welcome screen click Next.

- You can use advanced features to enhance network analysis and also provide anonymous information to make the program better.

- If you don't want to use the Advanced Features check the box and click Next.

- Enter your email address and you can elect to receive product updates, or not.

- Check what you want Cisco Network Magic to do and click Next.

- Check what you want to share as far as My Documents, My Pictures and My Music. Then click Next.

- Cisco Network Manager will share folders. When it's done click Next.

- You can assign a password and hint, if you wish.

- If not just check the box and click Next.

- Click Finish.

- You need to install a copy of Network Magic on each computer in your network.

- Now you're at the Cisco Network Magic control panel.

- You can pick from a variety of Tasks.

- Check the Status of your network.

- Share printers, folders, and troubleshoot problems.

- You can take screenshots of other computers on your network once they have Network Magic installed as well.

- Cisco Network Magic makes it easy for anyone to work with a home network and manage sharing.
