Portable devices in general have a limited amount of battery power. If you leave everything on all the time your battery is going to be depleted quickly. Android devices can show you what is using the

battery power

and makes it easy for you to make changes.

- Tap on Settings on your Android device.

- In Settings look for an option called About Phone and tap on that.

- In About Phone look for Battery Use and tap on that.

- You'll now see what is using your battery power.

- In our example the Display is using 82% and Wi-Fi is using 6%.

- If you tap on Wi-Fi, for example, you can get more detailed information.

- Here you can gain immediate access to the Wi-Fi settings and make changes to help save battery power.

- If you don't need it just turn Wi-Fi off.

- In things like Display you can turn down the brightness and reduce power consumption.

- The Android makes it easy to check battery usage and make changes.
