- You know how to network your desktop PC and notebook computer but there are other devices you may want to connect to your network.

- If you have an iPad or iPhone, you can connect that to your network in the same way you connected your notebook.

- The same goes for other wireless devices, like smartphones and PDAs.

- Another popular device you can connect is a network attached storage (NAS) device so that you can access the data that's on it from other devices on your network.

- More common in most households are gaming devices. Both the Wii and the Xbox 360 can connect to your home network.

- Many printers can also be connected to the home network so that computers on the network can print from anywhere in the home.

- Some devices connect to your router by USB, which many routers now support with at least one port.

- Media players, like the Sonos ZonePlayer, can also connect to your network.

- Apple TV is another device that you might have that you can connect to your home network so you can download or stream content.
