- Click on Start and then on Control Panel.

- When Control Panel opens you'll see its icon in the taskbar.

- Right-click on the Control Panel icon and select Pin this icon to taskbar.

- Now, ever if you close Control Panel the icon for it remains close at hand in the taskbar.

- It will also have its own "jump list" of items in Control Panel you've used recently.
