There are many times when you will need to pull up the
control panel

to thetaskbar
. You can also takecomponents of the control panel
and pin those to the taskbar too to make themeasier to access

- Click on Start and then on Control Panel.
- When Control Panel is open its icon is in the taskbar.
- Right-click the icon and select Pin this program to the taskbar.
- This will give you quick access to Control Panel.
- If you wish, rather than pin Control Panel you can pin modules of Control Panel to the recent list.
- So, for example, right-click on the icon and pick Network and Sharing and select pin.
- Now that module will remain on the taskbar.
- When Control Panel is open its icon is in the taskbar.
