- If you use DHCP then IP addresses are automatically assigned to devices that connect to your network.
- For whatever reason, you might want a particular computer to always have a particular IP address.
- Under LAN Setup, you'll find IP reservation.
- Click Add and your router will bring up a list of devices currently connected.
- Click the Radio button for the computer or device you want.
- Enter the IP address if it differs from the one it currently has.
- Click Apply.
- Now, no matter what, that device will always have that IP address.
