You can use MapQuest to
find a location
in the city and once you've found the right location, you cansearch near a location
for different things. You cansearch for goods and services
in the area like restaurants, search for types of food like Italian or Chinese, or search for popular locations likenearby grocery stores

- There are two search boxes on the new MapQuest.
- The one on the left is for searching for things anywhere in the world and mapping out directions.
- You'll need to be more specific by entering in a general location, like Los Angeles, when using this search box so that it will know what area to search in.
- Once you've located the general area of where you'll be, you can use the search box that is located right on top of the map to find locations in this area.
- You can search for things like "Italian restaurants" in the map search box and it will show you Italian restaurants in just this area.
- To get more details, you can click on these places to view more info and, if they use OpenTable, you can click on the link to make reservations.
- You can also use the boxes at the top to search for common locations like grocery stores and gas stations.
- This allows for much cleaner searching when you're not sure of where things are in a specific area.
