Now that you're on your way to becoming a Twitter power user, we'll show you how to use Twitter search to filter through the mass of information on Twitter to find just what's of specific interest to you at a given moment. Searching twitter can allow you to connect with other tweeters over similar interests. The search function is simple and easy. We'll show you how to use it.

- Go to Twitter's Search page to enter search queries and hone down what people are Twittering about.
- Enter your search terms, click on Search and then scroll through the results.
- If a new tweet is posted that contains your search terms while you're browsing, click on the Refresh link to view the latest.
- Refining your search is as simple as adding more search terms and clicking on Search again.
- Search results show the words you searched for in bold.
- In the right-hand menus, you can choose the language to search and display results, see what topics are trendy and see queries that Twitter deems "Nifty."
- Click on Twitter these results to send a tweet containing your search results.
- Click on Feed for this query to keep your RSS reader updated with new results for your search terms.
- Click on Advanced Search beside the Search button to get much more refined and targeted search results. You can search in a certain time frame, search for people, places and even even attitudes.
