for an item that you want to sell.

- First, go to Your Account and then Your Seller Account.

- You can choose to Sell Professionally or to sell Individually, item by item.

- Professional sellers have unlimited sales for $39.99 a month, whereas Individual sellers pay $0.99 per item. Each pays a certain referral fee as well.

- To start selling, first choose a category where your item fits and then enter a title.

- Once you find your product, indicate the product's condition with a note.

- Now enter the price that you want to charge for the product, keeping in mind that Amazon takes a referral fee of six to 20 per cent.

- Enter the quantity of items that you have for sale and the shipping methods that you accept.

- You will have to log in to Amazon again and verify yourself as a seller by creating a seller account.

- Choose a display name and enter your credit card information to confirm that you will pay Amazon after each sale.

- Once you are registered, you can post your listing.
