- In Ubuntu click on System and then on Administration.
- Move down to Printing.
- In Printers click Add.
- Ubuntu will now search the network and the local computer looking for printers.
- When it finds the one you want select it and click Forward.
- Ubuntu will now look for drivers.
- When drivers have been found it will prompt you to enter a name, a description, and location.
- You may want to just use the defaults.
- If you wish you can print a test page to make sure your printer is working correctly.
