Show Notes

- If you have a wireless home network router, you'll want to work that into your setup.

- If you haven't got a network set up already but do have high speed Internet, chances are that it is connected directly to your primary computer.

- The first step of the process is to look at the ports on the back of your router. One of these will be labeled Internet or WAN.

- Generally, there will be a number of others for your home devices labeled Ethernet or LAN.

- Next, you'll want to disconnect the Internet from your computer and connect it to the Internet port on your router.

- Now use an Ethernet cable (usually included with your router) to connect your computer through one of the Ethernet ports.

- If you have a cable Internet connection then you're likely done at this point.

- Otherwise, you'll want to insert the CD that came with your router into your computer and follow the steps.
