- Open Cisco Network Magic.
- On the Tasks tab click Change Wireless Protection.
- The first time you open it you're asked to log in to your router.
- Once connected Network Magic will show your level of wireless security.
- It will show the type, like WEP, and the security key.
- In this instance the key is 26 characters long. Note that this is not the real key on the my network.
- Click on Change Wireless Security.
- We recommend WPA2 for best protection.
- You can click on Help me choose a key to get assistance in choosing a strong key.
- Click on Enable Network Lock.
- Network Lock will be enabled, but only during the trial period.
- Click Close and you're done and secure!
