tether your Android phone

- Here, you can download a version for the Android phone.
- There are also versions for BlackBerry, iPhone and others.
- You can download a version that supports both Windows and Mac.
- Go into the Android Market and download PdaNet - it's Free.
- Run PdaNet on your PC or Mac. The icon will reside in the tray on the PC and on the menu bar on the Mac.
- Now, run it on your Android phone.
- A dialog will come up and you can pick from UBS tether or Bluetooth DUN. Make your choice.
- Now, click on the icon on your PC or Mac and tell it to connect.
- You'll be connected to the Internet until you turn off PdaNet.
- The version for your phone is free and the version for your desktop is $29.95 — a real bargain, in our opinion.
