Show Notes

- If you

don't hear audio

there are a couple things you can check.

- Click on Start, then on Control Panel, and then on Sounds.

- Click on the Sounds tab.

- Pick any system event with a speaker icon next to it and then press the little play button.

- If you hear a sound then the problem isn't your audio.

- Another thing to check is where the sound might be going.

- It's not uncommon for the audio to be going to a headset you plugged in or a wireless headset.

- Click on the Audio tab and make sure the sound is going to the right device.

- Lastly you can open a media player and try to play a song.

- If you hear sounds in the first example, and music in the last example, the problem is not with your audio.

- If you found that your audio was going to your new wireless headset, you can fix that in the Audio tab.
