- On your Android phone tap Settings.
- In Settings you'll want to tap Wireless and Networks.
- Now tap Airplane Mode.
- This will disable all wireless transmissions from your phone.
- An airplane icon will appear next to the battery icon to show you're in Airplane Mode.
- Your phone is now safe to use while you're in flight.
