When you're

using Google Maps on your BlackBerry

the default view is map
view. Ahh, but it doesn't have to be that way. If you'd like to get a
feel for the terrain or the countryside, it's easy-to-do. Check this out
and I'll show you how to use "

satellite view

" on your BlackBerry.

Show Notes

- With

Google Maps on your BlackBerry

highlight the icon and click the trackball or touchscreen.

- By default you'll be in "map view."

- Press the BlackBerry menu button and select

Satellite view

.

- In satellite view you can still see streets, but you can also see much
more.

- Satellite view shows you neighborhoods, rivers, lakes, forests, and
more.

- Press the 'i' key on your keypad to zoon IN, and press 'o" to zoom
OUT.

- Satellite view is great for seeing details you never see on a map.

- It's also great for learning and understanding the geography of an
area.

- To return to Map view just click the BlackBerry menu key.

- Scroll down to Map View and click the trackball or touchscreen.
