Millions of people use Skype to talk for free between their computers. Well, if you have a Skype account you can also use it right from your iPhone. It's quick, it's easy, and it's full-featured.

Show Notes

- Download Skype from the Apple App Store.

- Tap the Skype icon to open it.

- Skype loads and you're prompted to sign in.

- If you don't have a Skype account you can create one.

- Once Skype connects you see your contacts.

- Tap on any of them to make a connection and talk.

- You can tap the Call icon to bring up the phone dial pad.

- From here you can dial any number.

- Calling from Skype to a landline or mobile phone requires that you have money in your Skype account.

- Tap the My Info tab to see information about your account.

- When you're done just tap Sign Out in the upper-right corner.

- You're prompted to tap Sign Out again and if you do you're disconnected.

- This is a great way to take the power of Skype right on your iPhone.
