. This handy feature may take up to 48 hours to work, but you never know who you'll find!

- In order to use SmartMatches, you must have already begun creating your family tree.

- Every time you exit out of the tree builder, it will send a notice to SmartMatches and MyHeritage.com will begin looking for relatives.

- This doesn't lead to instant gratification, however. It could take up to 48 hours for this feature to work since it has millions of family trees to scour.

- It takes information from names and facts and tries to make a connection.

- If a connection is made, both members are contacted and you can proceed to connect your families trees.
