Show Notes

- BlackBerry App World comes preinstalled on newer BlackBerry devices.

- If your

BlackBerry doesn't have App World installed

, you'll need to send a download link to your handset via email to install it.

- Highlight the App World icon and press the trackball.

- At the top, you'll see some highlighted programs. Move a finger across the trackball to scroll through the selections.

- If you scroll down, the first icon on the left is Categories.

- Here, you'll find individual categories of software that you can browse through.

- The next icon on the main screen is the Top Free applications.

- The next icon, with the $ sign, is the top paid applications. Each list shows the top 25.

- The magnifying glass is for search.

- You can search on any word or phrase and go through the results to find what you need.

- The last icon is My World and it shows all the programs you've installed from BlackBerry App World.

- If a program shows a red asterisk, it means there's an update available.
