Every font set can display a range of characters. Yes, they display the alphabet and numbers, but they can also display much more. To find out take a look at Character Map. Character Map will not only show you every character that's in a font set, but it gives you a way to use those characters.

- Click on Start, then on Program, then on System Tools.
- In System Tools click on Character Map.
- Character Map will display all of the characters available in a given font set.
- You can change font sets by clicking on the drop-down font list and selecting a new one.
- To use a character first you must highlight it.
- Then click Select and then Copy.
- Now you can use CTRL+V to Paste the character into a program like Wordpad.
- Different font sets will display different characters.
