Watch the entire video tutorial series on the Apple iPad

- To unlock the iPad, slide the bar from left to right.

- While the screen is locked, you can use the iPad in picture frame mode by tapping the picture frame icon in the bottom right of the lock screen.

- Swipe your finger left or right to move homescreens.

- Swiping all the way to the left opens a Spotlight search of the iPad.

- The battery icon in the top right shows how much charge you have.

- Rotate the device to change the view from portrait to landscape.

- Flip the lock switch on the top right of the device to lock the view mode.

- Adjust the volume using the side-mounted rocker switch.

- Use the included USB to iPad connector cable to charge and sync your device with iTunes.

- Move or delete apps from the device by pressing an icon until it jiggles. Move apps or tap the black X to delete.

- You can add up to six icons to the dock.
